Remedial massage is the systematic assessment and treatment of the muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues. It is one of the most effective and readily available ways to treat musculoskeletal pain and joints stiffness and restriction. This therapy combines soft tissue and deep tissue massage, joint manipulations, muscle energy techniques (METs) and manual lymphatic drainage. Remedial massage therapy can help in the management of chronic and acute conditions such as:
